Looks like the authorities have apprehended you and have brought you in for processing. After being forced to wait in the waiting room, you're brought to the assimilation room - a terrible white cell, where you're trapped for hours, sentenced to be slowly stripped of your individuality. |

That... looks incredibly useful.
[ Ahem. Focusing now, leaning forward to look at the map. ]
Even if they did, we'd probably still be in the same area. The station's only three miles long.

You don't know the half of it.
[Seriously. She nods her head a little at Carolyn's assessment, squinting at the other buildings she'd marked off in the area]
So the most direct route for evacuation would be this-
[She draws a line through the buildings, back to where the shuttles are, avoiding places where she'd marked regular patrols]
So that's the easy part. The hard part is getting these people out of here.

[ Not necessarily now, since it's not exactly the time, but perhaps in the future. ]
I'd guess there are cameras of some sort in here, too -- if we do break out, they're going to know. [ Cameras makes more sense than "creepy hivemind knowledge", anyway. ] It'll be messy.

[Just about literally. A quick check tells her her mini-fabricator is still in place, which means despite the fact that she's been relieved of her guns, she is still very much armed and dangerous.]
I've been up against situations like this before... I don't see the complete lack of resistance these people have much, though. I'd prefer to get out of here without anyone getting killed, captors included, but I don't know how much of a reality that is.

I keep forgetting you're from the nicer part of the universe. Not killing the captors wouldn't be an option most people would think of where I'm from. [ But Carolyn's for it, if they can do it. If not... she's not exactly going to miss them. ] Or getting everyone else out, for that matter. But hopefully we can pull it off.
