You're not feeling too well. The last couple of days have been - rough. The medbay seems to be a bit more full than usual, but you're sure it's nothing to be worried about; whatever the illness is, it'll go away once you've rested and gotten a check-up. Right? |

[Sure, she could probably turn off the snow...if she were able to focus long enough to mutter a proper spell. One that didn't result in something else replacing it.]

So it really hadn't been long until he had found himself carried to the medical bay as well, white as he had never been and just simply looking miserable.
He glanced at the snow from his bed.]
's actually n'ce. A distraction.
no subject
S'too cold now. But if I turn it off, it'll be too hot.
no subject
[Because water is less cold than snow. Sick logic.]
no subject
[...until she mutters a spell to switch the snow to rain, and immediately gets a downpour that causes her to sit up with a shriek]
no subject
Okay Conner is just going to stare for a few seconds while his sick brain processes.]
...Uh, sorry?

[Finally the cloud disappears altogether, leaving her as soaked as a drowned rat. She glares unfocused at the spot where it had been for a few seconds, before shaking out her whole head. Sprinkling him in the process.]
Ugh. I need a towel.
no subject
[He resists the impulse to shake the water away like Wolf would.
He stands up- and feels like throwing up instantly but forces himself to jump out of the bed anyway.]
I'll go get them.
no subject
[Despite her fever, the wet hair and clothes were already starting to cause her to shiver.]
no subject
Here. [He holds one out to her as he dries up his own hair.] At least the snow is gone now.

[He takes a step closer to her bed] If your fever has gone up we should tell the doctors.
no subject
I t-think it's just from the w-water, though. I'll be okay.

in which case, /o/!
She'll wind up with a soaked bed at that rate, though. Should he try to find an umbrella if it keeps up...? First things first, John.
He brings two fingers to her neck to get a quick feel for her pulse, eyes her face sharply. ]
I'm Doctor Watson- we're going to get you sorted out, all right? [ The words are measured and clear, all the better for making the effort with. He's not entirely sure it's going to get across, but it never hurt to try. ]
\o\
[Semi-conscious now, she gave a weak nod in response to his question, waving at the cloud above her head. After a moment, she opened her eyes just long enough to glare at it. Muttering another spell in hopes of making it go away]
[The snowfall lightened, but the cloud remained.]
[She groaned loudly]
no subject
[ Weather-indicating gesture goes here. ]
no subject
What questions?

[She swipes at the cloud for a moment, but it does little.]
Just my magic bein' on the fritz. But that might be obvious by now.
[Glare. Stupid cloud.]
