PLAYER PLOT | November 15-17 | boys only want love if it's torture

CHARACTERS: All passenger characters opting in
LOCATION: All Tranquility levels and areas excepting opt-out personal quarters
WARNINGS: Up to R for violence, mental manipulation, potential depictions of trauma (non-sexual)
SUMMARY: An epidemic of mindless violence breaks out among the passengers, inciting unlikely alliances and frantic investigation. Physical assault, flagrant abuse of supernatural abilities, and attempts to sabotage the ship run amok on the ship three days, as the peculiar nature of this epidemic gradually comes to light and the conflict approaches its climax.

Backtags and late tag-ins are welcome and extremely likely.
The plot-runner is still available to brainstorm scene hooks and opportunities.
The plot start is dated for November 15; this post was made tonight for optional early bird participation.
Somnambulist characters are encouraged to relapse and remain susceptible through November 18, as Part 3 offers further dream RP opportunities.

LOCATION: Gravity Couches and beyond.
WARNINGS: Maybe some swearing, or even some violence, and more than likely some implied (and possibly explicit) nakedness.
SUMMARY: Another month, another jump, another round of new faces.
NOTES: You wake feeling cold and alone. There is a strange sense of emptiness, and the jump holds no surprises for you. There is nothing buffering the jump sickness and disorientation for you this month, and the effects may be difficult to cope with, especially for those who went into Engineering several months ago.

It may be best to try to take what comfort you can from a hot shower and any friends you find around you, though, and don't pick up your comms too quickly - there's a message waiting on the network, a harsh warning about the real dangers around you, and no one would blame you for remaining in blissful ignorance a little longer...

DEATH TRAPS

CHARACTERS: Anyone! Everyone! Whoever!
LOCATION: Various places on the ship.
WARNINGS: Outlandish violence and harmless villainy
SUMMARY: Megamind's various death traps, and the locations they will take place in.
NOTES:

In various places, things were going Wrong. Very wrong. Strange controls were going off, sensors were being set off-- chaos was running amok. But good will rise to fight evil, won't it?

However, true to his word the passenger quarters and the trams to the medbay (and everywhere else, actually) still work. And there is absolutely nothing going on on the 100-400 passenger decks via traps and death traps, so they're a safe place to hunker down -- or obey the crazy alien, whichever.

Everywhere else, however, is fair game...

And the overlord himself? Hiding in Engineering.
